Began my first day in the honors program at RSU. So far, I've had an American Federal Government class, an Honors Seminar class (which we have nine novels to read and write essays over by December 1st, boo)... and in one hour, I have an Art Appreciation class.

I am going to be SWAMPED this semester with papers. I have about twenty essays to write in my government class alone. :( 

I went clubbing on Friday night with my best friend Jessica and her friend Wesley.

It was like stepping into another world. We went after midnight, got felt up by bouncers, I was asked to dance as soon as I walked in the door, there were stripper poles (but only pole dancers, not strippers), some girl with her legs thrown over a guy's face humping it, I was offerred shots by a waitress when I was clearly wearing a giant glowing "UNDER 21" bracelet, a crazy Mexican guy grinded on me and then licked my neck, then when I walked away he grabbed me back and tried to give me a lapdance-type serenade.

It was insane.

That I took better care of my laptop. It's totally fried. I'm having to post from the super-slow-dial-up-like-desktop, which is also only on Windows 2000 (yikes).

I haven't been up to too much lately. I went on a little road trip with Hubie... we drove up to Claremore and got a copy of my fall schedule. I also filled out a job application for the work-study program (I'm going to be a filer... double yikes).

I'm supposed to be getting a car sometime between now and August 9th, but we'll see how that goes.

From watching the best Harry Potter movie EVER!!! 

I was TOTALLY not expecting it to be that great, but man, I think I liked it even more than the book! It was totally worth waiting an hour and a half in line in humid 100 degree + weather, with a whiny friend and quiet boyfriend. 

I am sooo excited to FINALLY watch Harry Potter and the Halfblood Prince!!!

It's coming on at 10:00 PM tonight at the theater downtown <3, so I don't have to wait until midnight! SUCCESS. :)

I'm dragging my boyfriend along. He hasn't read the books, but he likes the movies well enough to sit through two hours in a long, crowded, noisy line.

I graduated from high school about two months ago; on my birthday, actually. I have a boyfriend (his name is Hubie... yes, haha, I know). We've been together for about four months. :) He's my geeky prince.

I like to watch movies, hang out with my friends (Katy Jo, Jessica, Zach, Alex, and Hubie), play Little Big Planet (a lot harder of a game than it looks!), shop at the mall and at thrift stores, go to garage sales, eat out, roller skate, have staring contests, read, annnnnd cuddle with my beau. :)

I'm going to Rogers State University in the fall, and I will be in the honors program and the president's leadership class.

Oh yes, and I'm a huge Harry Potter fanatic! I love all of the characters, but I've always had a soft spot for Draco Malfoy. <3
